Dhardo Rinpoche Day

Learn how to live out the Buddhist ideal

Sun 22 Mar | 10:00am - 5:00pm | In person, just turn up

Led by Sraddhagita and Suryanaga

How do we live a life of meaning, based on our deepest ideals rather than the forces of the world?

This is the question we'll be considering on this day inspired by Dhardo Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist teacher and examplar of the Buddhist way of life.

Dhardo Rinpoche is known for his daily routine, which started with six hours of meditation, visualisation and ritual – after which he would spend the rest of the day running the school he founded for child refugees in northern India.

On the day, we will explore the relationship between meditation and living an ethical life, and why this dynamic of inner and outer work holds the key to transformation.

Whether you’re familiar with the Centre or you’ve never been before, come along and discover how Dhardo Rinpoche's extraordinary example can continue to inspire us in the 21st century.
