How do you live a meaningful life?

This is the question at the heart of our Sub30 group.

Our options for how to live a full and meaningful life can feel limited. The world encourages us to go to university, strive for a high-status career, and go on nice holidays... but our experience tells us that these things never add up to real, lasting satisfaction.

Buddhism helps us to see that a whole different life is possible, and it starts with working on our minds. A Buddhist life is one in which love, friendship, and a deeper understanding of life become central, and everything else flows from this inner richness.

The LBC's Sub30 project gives people aged 18-30 a place to come together, explore the Buddha's teachings and form a community that supports us to grow.

Gender Diverse Sangha Retreat

Beyond the binary

This retreat will be led by a team of gender diverse order members. It is open to those that are mitras and order members as well as those who are thinking of becoming mitras (by invite).
We will explore practising the dharma together as gender diverse people. People who identify as trans, non-binary, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, agender, intersex and gender diverse are all welcome.
