Families & Children

Meditation and Buddhist practice can be an invaluable support as children and teenagers face the various demands of growing up. Our classes offer the chance to learn skills, tap into creativity and form friendships with peers who are interested in working on their minds and leading a meaningful life.

The Sunday School is currently running on the last Sunday of the month, 10.30am - 12.30pm, for parents and children to playfully engage with Buddhist values. There's now a creche for children from 6 months to 5 years old at the Wednesday daytime class as well. If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please email families@lbc.org.uk.

Gender Diverse Sangha Retreat

Beyond the binary

This retreat will be led by a team of gender diverse order members. It is open to those that are mitras and order members as well as those who are thinking of becoming mitras (by invite).
We will explore practising the dharma together as gender diverse people. People who identify as trans, non-binary, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, agender, intersex and gender diverse are all welcome.
