Thursday Night Class: Meditation & In-Conversation

The Fifty-One Mental Events: Transforming Every Aspect of the Mind

To transform the mind we need to know the mind. The fifty-one mental events provide a comprehensive map of the mind's every aspect: good, bad or indifferent. We hope you can join the Thursday evening class as we explore this extensive Buddhist teaching. We will be guided by Sangharakshita's Know Your Mind - our own teacher's exploration - and Mind in Harmony, the commentary upon it by Subhuti, the LBC's President.
Free (suggested donation £11).

Eight Step Recovery is an alternative recovery program to the 12-Step program of Alcoholic Anonymous. The program is a set of mindfulness teachings outlining a suggested course of action for recovery from addiction, stinking thinking, negative mental states, and compulsive and obsessive behaviours.
