Our LGBTQIA+ events are an opportunity for people to come together for meditation, practice and community. Led by and for LGBTQIA+ people.
We offer in-person events, every few months, including community retreat days at the centre, and a residential once a year at our retreat centre in Suffolk.

This is a weekend retreat led by and for people identifying as LGBTQIA+. In beautiful surroundings, we’ll explore the Buddhist vision through meditation, talks, discussion groups, and ritual with a focus on inclusivity and building friendships.

Gender Diverse Sangha Retreat
Beyond the binary
This retreat is led by a team of gender diverse people for gender diverse people who who want to explore Buddhism with like minded people. Have you ever felt that you don't fit into the single-sex structures of Triratna? The retreat is for order members, mitras and those thinking of asking to become a mitra. We welcome all gender-diverse people including trans, non-binary, intersex, gender fluid, gender non-conforming and gender-questioning people to this event.
