Dharma Day Festival: Led by Jyotismati and Dayanatha

Sun 13 Jul | 10am–9.30pm | In person, drop in anytime

Find the Truth and then Live By it.

‘The Doors to the Deathless have been opened!’ said the Buddha when he first met his friends, the so-called five ascetics, after his Enlightenment. Soon Kaundinya understood. And according to the legend, the sky filled with devas. Soon Enlightenment, that supreme vision of how things really are, spread throughout India and, as the centuries passed, across the world to reach us here in the East End of London in 2025.

In a post-fact world, a world of fake news and public debate, an increasingly divided world, we need a vision of truth that can transcend our differences and reunite us in an aspirational sangha: the community the Buddha founded on Dharma Day.

The Truth of life is something, in Bhante Sangharakshita’s words, that is caught not taught. Come along and catch the truth with meditation, sutra readings, readings from Bhante, and a keynote talk by one of Triratna’s seniormost and inspiring teachers, Vajratara: The Way to Freedom
